Celebrities don’t just wake up with perfect bodies (even though it sure does seem like it). They have to put time and effort into getting such fabulous shape. Here are five celebrities that have been spotted around town getting their workout on.

Halle Berry doesn’t even take a maternity break and rest while she’s pregnant with child. She was spotted out recently power walking through her neighborhood.

Channing Tatum is known for his sexy dance moves on the big screen but he always stays camera ready by getting in some cardio with his workout sidekick his dog.

Jennifer Love Hewitt loves her curves but keeps them in check by working out at the crack of down running the stairs.

Vanessa Hudgens stay flexible and strong while working out in Studio City doing Pilates.

Hugh Jackman spends some quality time with his family by working out them.

Mariah Carey Wows in Instagram Bikini Pic


Wow was the reaction of majority of Mariah Carey’s 870,000 Instagram followers after she posted this slim and sexy bathing suit picture of herself this week to her IG page.

Mariah Carey is currently soaking up the sun in Europe on set filming a new video.

While a judge on American Idol last season, it seemed as though her weight fluctuated up and down, often times dressing in clothes that covered up majority of her body. And after giving birth to twins, we know it must have took a lot of work to get into bikini shape again.

Her amazing weight loss came just in time now that she is promoting her new single “Beautiful” featuring Miguel.

I’m sure Mariah’s followers would definitely agree with us that she looks absolutely beautiful in her bikini!

SELF Magazine Teams Up With Crunch Gym To Help Challenged Athletes

Snooki and Kendall Jenner Fight Back Against “Being too Skinny” Remarks


Snooki sure has been progressing with her weight loss since having her baby, but not everyone is impressed with her accomplishments.

Just recently, she posted a pic on Instagram showing how she is taking her health serious, so far losing 42 pounds. But critics

Snooki responded: “Too skinny my ass. #FIT.”

The “Jersey Shore” star has been following a strict diet and workout routine to get her the great body she has now. Way to go, Snooks!

Snooki is not the only celeb that slammed critics for being “too skinny,” Kendall Jenner too has also received the same criticism.

Jenner just recently posed for Harper’s Bazaar magazine for the April 2013 edition, but during an interview with Harper’s Arabia, she opened up about the taunts about her weight, saying:

“I’m constantly criticized for being too skinny. I’m trying to gain weight but my body won’t let it happen. What people don’t understand is that calling someone too skinny is the same as calling someone too fat, it’s not a nice feeling.”

We agree, Kendall.

Regardless of the harsh criticism, we still think that Snooks and Kendall look amazing! Keep up the great work girls!

Get Denise Richards’ Muscular Calves


Running around the town and after four children are definitely doing Denise Richards justice.

The 42-year old mother of two appeared last week on Good Morning America displaying very muscular calves in a lime green dress as well as looking lean.

Richards sure did not show any stress at all, especially as reports show that she is caring for ex-husband Charlie Sheen’s twin sons with wife Brooke Mueller aside from her own two children. Four kids, maybe that’s where she’s getting the great bod from!

The Bachelorette’s Secret To A Fit Body


If you have been watching Season 9 of The Bachelorette, it is no surprise that there are a lot of nice bodies in the house. But besides all the abs Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock gets to see (and feel if she desires), she admits that she has to work for her own abs.

She revealed in an interview with Shape Magazine all the foods that can be found in her kitchen. From blueberry oatmeal to hummus and pita chips, Desiree makes sure she has something for all her cravings. While she does not eat many carbs throughout the day, she always has a granola bar in her purse so she never gets hungry, and having such a busy schedule, she makes sure that she can make meals that will last,

“Turkey gives me the protein I need for energy throughout the day without the calories, while rice and broccoli create a balanced meal that is easy to prepare. This meal is also easy to store so I make at least two to three meals from one preparation.”

Desiree also always keeps dark chocolate at hand. She admits that she has a huge sweet tooth and that allowing herself to eat dark chocolate keeps her from wanting other sweets or desserts.

“I can’t live without having dark chocolate on hand for any moment during the day that I need a little sugar pick-me-up. I allow myself to indulge in moderation at least four times a week.”

Besides her healthy eating habits, the Bachelorette star still has to exercise to keep her fit body as well.

“I love going to spin class and hiking. I try to hike at least twice a week while taking a spin class or going to the gym also once or twice a week. I like to switch it up throughout the week so I don’t get bored of the same activity or workout.”

The “Man Of Steel” Superman Workout


The long awaited SupermanMan of Steel” movie hit theaters this week, and made a huge splash at the box office. Receiving great reviews from both critics and viewers.

If you want to channel your inner superman and get buff like the lead actor Henry Cavill then try out this man of steel inspired workout below;

Soar through the air with Supermans:

Lay on your stomach and lift both chest and legs off the ground. Return back to the starting position without completely touching the ground. Repeat.
 This works lower back, core, glutes and arms.

3 sets 20 reps

Leap and hop like your jumping from building to building with Box jumps;

Use a box or stepper and do box jumps starting off squatting with both feet on the floor then jumping and landing on top of the box. 

3 sets 20 reps

Run faster then the Speed of lightning with Sprints;

On a treadmill up the speed to 7.0 to 9.0 (which ever you feel most comfortable) and sprint 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off for 6 to 10 sets

Caution: place hands first on side handles while transitioning to jump back on so you can get your balance

Joan Rivers: 80 and Fabulous


It is no secret that Joan Rivers has had a numerous amount of plastic surgeries. This past weekend she turned eighty years old and throughout those eighty years she has had more than forty plastic surgery procedures! But in all honesty, the surgeries do really help because she could pass for fifty. Joan jokingly told the Huffington Post back in 2012,

“Every weekend I just go in and I do something new. I get a 10th one free. It’s a little like coffee you just keep going.”

You have to give Joan credit though for being so open and honest about her surgeries considering most celebrities try to hide it. With her truthfulness she stated,

“I believe anything that can help you do it. If Botox can make you look better, do it. If you think you don’t have a nice nose, fix it. Feel good about yourself. Any of these idiots that lie to you and say they have done nothing—out here they’ve all done something. Dieting is so difficult. Everything is tough. But this is a society – every society wants people to look good. Babies respond to a prettier face.”

Even though her plastic surgery doctor is her go to, she still takes the time to get a little exercise in. She revealed to E! Online,

“I walk everywhere. I do every little thing I can to keep myself in motion. I have a trainer three times a week. I have made her go crazy. ‘Frances, how are you and the boyfriend. Let’s talk about it. Put down the weight and tell me.’ I try—we are meant to walk and move. In L.A. it makes me laugh that people get in their car, drive somewhere to walk. Whereas in NYC, they walk a lot more.”

So long story short, if eighty-year old Joan Rivers can work out weekly than so can you!

Tia Mowry Promotes Her Vegan-ism For PETA

Former “Sister, Sister” star Tia Mowry is taking on a new role, this time on a healthier level.

Mowry is the latest celebrity to pose for PETA, but instead of going nude, she donned an apron made of lettuce for the new campaign “Let Veganism Grow on you.”

The 34-year-old star also posed with a variety of fruits and veggies, showing her love of meat-free cooking and how vegan dishes does not have to be dull. She also told PETA:

“There’s a stigma about being vegan, some people say it doesn’t taste great. Don’t knock it till you try it. The more you learn about the benefits of being vegan, the more you become alive and the more you become aware of why it’s a really great decision. Not only am I helping myself, I’m helping the animals out there, I’m helping the environment-going vegan, I feel great.”

And we can admit, Tia looks deliciously great too!

Ian Ziering goes from 90210 Boy Next door to Chippendale Hottie


Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor Ian Ziering sure has a lot to be sizzling about these days.

He recently debut as a guest headliner with the male revue show, Chippendales, in Las Vegas.

When offered the role, he admits dieting for it was tough, doing so for three months. For the first five days he ate only proteins, and once he got the hunger pangs, he just separated his mind from his body so he wont give in to his temptations.

The 49-year old father of two said that having his two kids made going to the gym for him less of a priority.

He also used a more motivational approach to lose the weight, telling GMA:

“I had a vision board to see the weight I want to be. I had the playing cards of the Chippendales’ guys up there so it was very motivating.”

Throughout the whole process, he lost 25 pounds. We are definitely proud!
