LoLo Jones Wants Her Bobsled Booty Back!

Olympian LoLo Jones, known for her  long jump between sports, she went from running track to bobsledding. In order to do so LoLo had to pack on the pounds, not just a couple of pounds, but thirty pounds to be able to hang with the other bobsledders.

Talk about all you can eat, this female athlete had to adhere to a strict 9,000 calorie diet to pack on the weight, including eating double bacon cheeseburgers and three 1,000 calorie protein shakes a day.

After competing at the Olympics in Russia for the American team, she decided to make the leap back over to track. This meant it was time for her to take off the pounds.

LoLo explained in an interview with ThePostGame.com even though she was happy to see the weight come off,  she was sad to see her booty go.

“It’s really tough, because I thought I could lose all the weight and I didn’t. I am still about 7 lbs overweight. And it’s not the way you want to keep it.. at first I had that nice bobsled butt, that I worked so hard to get, and I was like Yes!, this is going to stay, and all this other stuff is going to go…and the butt was the first thing to go and I was like NOOO!!! That’s the one thing I wanted to stay.”

Well LoLo if you win another medal in track, it will be well worth it! But consuming 9,0000 calories a day. Now that’s what you call dedication.

[Recipe] Shake Up Your Breakfast With This Pina Colada Protein Shake

If you’re getting sick of that same bland & boring protein shake,  shake it up with this island inspired Pina Colada Protein Shake!

This protein shake packs lots of flavor and is less than 250 calories and has 16g of protein. Not only will it feed your muscles after a good workout, but it will also satisfy your sweet tooth.  Breakfast never tasted so good!

Try out my recipe below;

Pina Colada Protein Shake

  • 1 Scoop vanilla protein powder 
  • 1 pineapple ring
  • 1/2 small banana
  • 1/2 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 4-6 ounces of water 
  • 1/2 cup of ice

Add all ingredients in your blender. Blend until smooth and your mouth will think you are in the Bahamas!

*Tip: Freeze your bananas and you won’t have to add ice to your shake.  Also, you can substitute the water and add in pineapple juice or Almond milk. For whey protein options, I like Herbalife’s French Vanilla (low-calorie & great taste.)

Colbie Caillat’s New Video “Try” Inspires Love Yourself Challenge

Singer Colbie Caillat was sick of the pressure she was feeling to be beautiful and  to impress others. As any great artist would do, Colbie took her issue to the studio and teamed up with producer Babyface to create “Try”.

In  the  song she sings about loving oneself. Penning the bold new song, she was even more bold in creating the video,  including herself and other women taking off  everything; their hair extensions, lashes, and make up. The video showcases herself and others becoming vulnerable and showing the world women in their natural state.

In just a week, the video has over 9 millions views on youtube and has inspired  a “Love yourself challenge” on social media, where women are challenged to post a bare-faced selfie.

Dwayne Johnson Reveals His #TeamHercules Diet Plan

Dwayne Johnsons aka The Rock reveals his team Hercules diet plan.

He recently had to get into the best shape of his life (you would’ve though he was already there) for the role of “Hercules” and he wanted to share with all his instagram followers what his intense diet regimen consisted of to get there.

The ordinary person would eat 3 meals a day, including a couple of snacks. but if you want to pack on some lean mean muscle you need you need to add a whole lot more to your meals.

The rock revealed he had to eat seven times a day, and it wasn’t including snack it was  seven meals a day. Each meal consisted of either chicken, fish, protein powder, and egg whites. Along with rice, potatoes or oatmeal for carbohydrates and broccoli or asparagus seems to be his veggie of choice.

Dwayne explained this was no fad diet. He had to commit to this particular food plan for 22 weeks. His 14 egg whites a day, and over 3 pounds of lean meat helped him really turn in to the  greek God Hercules.

Rihanna both shocked & stunned the world when she arrived to the CFDA awards this summer in a see-thru head to toe crystal ensemble. What stood out most (other than her nipples on display) was that perfect, lifted, little round tush of hers!

You would think she spent hours in the gym getting in some major squat sessions, but there are some people born with a genetic booty advantage, and Rihanna happens to be one of them. But this doesn’t mean its impossible to build up your glutes!

I put together a workout regimen that will help you get that Rihanna booty of your dreams. Whether your flat as a board, or your just in need of a lift, this workout will help anyone get ready to wear their own see-thru crystallized diamond dress, or maybe just feel confident in a Brazilian bikini bottom.

Now before you run to the treadmill or dash for the elliptical, a better booty is not created with cardio alone, it’s created with  weights as well! That’s right, to get a serious sculpted backside you’ll need to add some iron to those squats and lunges. If you are new to working out, lighter weights or even small dumbbells will give you a burn.

Adrienne Bailon Gets Her Butt Tattoo Removed

Adrienne Bailon has been pretty open about how she regrets getting one tattoo in particular, on her butt. And Finally she is getting it removed! Lawd, I know she is happy to say bye-bye to her butt tattoo that says her x-boyfriend’s name “Rob Kardashian” (I know her new boyfriend is happy too.)

The Real talk show host once dated Rob Kardashian in a very public relationship it 2007. Their love for each other was so “real” that they both got matching tattoo’s of each others names (except Adrienne’s name is on Rob’s ribs). But, when the couple split 5 years ago in 2009, their tattoo’s have lived on way past their love expiration date .

Adrienne has tried to remove the tattoo before but tattoo removals are not as easy and are very painful. She explains;

 

“I’ve had really painful experiences before, doing laser tattoo removal. Really smelling like flesh burning. Ahh!..For me getting the tattoo was painful, and living for the last past six years with somebodies name on your body is a little weird, and a bit more painful to have to like you know (one day) explain that to my kids..”

 

She is determined to get the tattoo removed for good but in a safe way, trying a new laser procedure  called “Picosure” that will take 5 sessions.

“PicoSure is an FDA-cleared laser tattoo removal technology that—in contrast to earlier methods—uses much shorter light pulses to break up ink pigments with less residual heating of surrounding tissue. Also used to treat age spots and pigmented skin.”

Tattoo removals can cost anywhere from $75-$5,000 depending on the location of the tattoo, size, ink color, and how many sessions it take to be completely removed.

Justin Bieber Is Back In The Gym & Warns #DontBeScared

Justin Bieber has been flexing on Instagram but warns his Beliebers #DontBeScared. He recently has been sporting his shirtless self around the Hollywood scene, exuding much confidence with his defined set of abs and pecks on display.

Justin likes to get a good workout in, in the gym but also outdoors. If he’s not doing crunches or doing bicep curls with his trainer @thepatricknilsson, he’s hiking the canyons or skateboarding around for the Paparazzi to see.

A 1 hour session on a skateboard can burn up to 300 calories, hiking 200 calories or more (depending on the incline & speed.)

Didn’t it seem like just yesterday when Justin was a little boy with a fish bowl hair cut and no tattoos? lol. Boy they sure do grow up fast!

Tyra Banks Thinks Beauty Will Be Perceived Differently In The Future

Tyra Banks is no stranger when it comes to being  ridiculed by the press and media for her looks, but that has never kept her from saying how she really feels. In 2007, the 40-year-old gained 30-pounds after retiring from her model career.  Tyra spoke out about the backlash she was receiving from the media at that time and even joined the “Fat Fight Talk” Campaign, which helps women and men reduce self-damaging words to themselves.

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, the retired model talked about her perception of beauty and how the general definition of it will change in the future.  She says;

“In general, I believe, traditional beauty will be less valuable – and more uniqueness will be heralded.  People will be vying for that cutting-edge, distinct look in the way that today celebs reach for baby names that defy convention.”

She specifically states 10 predictions she see’s happening in the future, and one of them is getting plastic surgery will be as easy as walking into a drugstore.  But instead of the “cookie-cutter” look people crave now-a-days, everyone will be begging for a more unique and individual look.

Another prediction she has is that:

“Global warming will threaten our crops so natural food will be scarce. Hourglass, curvy bodies will be the aspirational beauty standard, representing that those women have access to bounties of fulfilling yet healthy food, which means they are affluent.”

She also says that since beauty will be so easy to attain, there will be no more prejudice on looks, but rather on your socioeconomic standing, and that if you do not desire plastic surgery, physical attributes (ex. certain shaped eyebrows and contoured cheekbones), will be accessible by “beauty ingestibles” such as active waters.

Even though Tyra made her living through modeling, she believes that robots and aviators will take the place of models in the future to sell products.

“Models will be as relevant as a horse and buggy.”

New Digital Birth Control Microchip That Can Turn On & Off

Ladies listen up! Soon you will be able to control your birth control with just a click of a button.

A Massachusetts start-up company named MicroChip just receIved a $4.6 Million dollar grant from Bill Gates to create the next form of contraception. This will allow women to plan their families, turning their fertility on and off.

So how does it work?

“The chip is implanted under the skin and releases small doses of the contraceptive hormone levonorgestrel on a daily basis, with enough capacity to last 16 years… it houses a series of micro-reservoirs covered by an ultra-thin titanium and platinum seal. The hormone is released by passing a small electric current from an internal battery through the seal, which melts it temporarily, allowing a 30 microgram dose of levonorgestrel to seep out each day. And it can be simply switched off by a wireless remote, avoiding the clinical procedures needed to deactivate other contraceptive implants.”

 

Dr. Robert Farra, a professor from MITdiscussed how easy this contraceptive is to use, explaining:

“The ability to turn the device on and off provides a certain convenience factor for those who are planning their family.”

 

Depending on how clinical trials turn out next year, the “digital pill” may be available in 2018. Microchip  also has other products in development that may change the medical game including drug delivery devices through microchips for patients who have Osteoporosis and MS as well as a Microchip rescue device for Diabetics.

Halle Berry Jokes About Her “Geriatric Pregnancy”

Halle Berry has been making her media rounds for her new television show “Extant”, about a female Astronaut who returns from a 12 month journey in space pregnant! Although this new sci-fi television series has a very interesting story line, everyone really wants to know about her new baby boy.

On Ellen’s couch, Halle  opened up about giving birth to her second baby Maceo , and what it was like giving birth at age 46. She joked that while in the hospital she got a glimpse of her medical chart and realized it said “geriatric pregnancy“.

She explained to Ellen;

“I didn’t think it was possible at my age…. I was, you know, on my way–this is probably way TMI–but I was really, you know, kind of pre-menopausal. So to have this happen was a huge.”

Halle went on to explain that this miracle pregnancy she believes was due to her daughter Nahla’s prayers asking God for a little brother or sister, “Only her prayers could have done this.”

“Two things that I swore I would never ever do again in life. I mean, I didn’t think it was possible to have another baby and I thought for sure I had a need never to get married again. So, I’ve learned never to say never,”

In July of 2013, Halle Berry wed her second husband French actor Olivier Martinez in a private ceremony.

Wondering what a geriatric pregnancy is, well it’s not a what it may sound like, it’s not your grandma having a baby. It’s when a woman who is 35 years old or older becomes pregnant. This was once an uncommon thing, but in today’s society 2 out of 10 pregnant women are now giving birth after the age of thirty.

Looking like a natural runner, Halle Berry was spotted getting some miles in while on set filming for Extant. Running may have been attributed to helping this actress get her pre-baby body back.  As far as her diet,  Halle has to stick to a strict high protein and low carb diet, avoiding sugary drinks due to her type 2 diabetes. The actress explained, she once passed out and was unconscious for a week due to her not taking care of her disease;

 

“One day, I simply passed out, and I didn’t wake up for seven days, which is obviously very serious.”

 

Wow!!! Now that’s serious. Happy you have it under control now Halle.
