In this month’s issue of Self Magazine, Ellie Goulding opens up about working out and how it helps her get through the day. Most people do not realize that working out and going to the gym does more than just physically make you look good, it helps you mentally as well and Ellie has proof.
“My training is part of my life…It’s something I need to do every day, because it affects my mood, my fitness, even my mind-set on stage.”
Dancing to her fast pace music gives her a workout on stage, but she still stays active off the stage. As for her favorite thing to do, yoga is her go to activity.
“I get the biggest high when I do yoga. People don’t realize that there’s such an incredible drug in life that doesn’t involve any substances.”

If Ellie has learned anything, it’s choosing her priorities, “… one of them is to respect my body and to do as much as I can with it while I’m here.”
