Zoe Saldana Has A Hard Time Slowing Down


It’s not surprise that we all get older; and when most people get older, they tend to slow down.  But not Zoe Saldana.  In an interview with Women’s Health U.K., the Guardians of the Galaxy star admitted her body isn’t what it was years ago, but how she knows she needs to slow down.

The 36-year-old admits;

“My body is less toned.  I do look in the mirror and see things I don’t want.  My first reaction is I breathe and I think, ‘I’m a woman.  I’m 36.  My body is changing.”

Zoe’s level of workouts and how much she works out are based off what her body tells her.

“I’ve learnt to listen to myself, so whenever I don’t feel like doing anything that starts with ‘I should’ then I don’t.”

When this interview took place, the public did not know that Zoe was pregnant, but now that the world knows, you can see why she would want to slow things down.

I’m exactly where I want to be. I do feel beautiful in a way that even when I was working out a whole lot, I sometimes didn’t. Because there have been times that I was really slender and I didn’t like that I sometimes looked a little too muscular and flat chested – you’ll never be completely happy, so at the end of the day it’s like “F**k it. Just be happy, regardless.”

Beyonce & Jay-Z Bike Around NYC


Beyonce recently showed off her fitness abilities when she rode her bike across the Brooklyn bridge.

She proved that she’s just like us normal people by opting to ride her bike to her last concert at the Barclay’s Center on Monday night, which also prompted her to post an Instagram pic of her doing so, saying:

“I biked to Barclay’s for my last show in Brooklyn!”

But Bey is not the only one who rode her bike, look’s like her fitness habits have rubbed on hubby Jay-Z! A few days later after Bey posted her pic, Mr. Carter posted a pic of himself on Instagram riding a mountain bike around the city.

No wonder Beyonce has the great legs like she does! According to Women’s Health, the benefits from bike riding is that it can give you some sexy legs. Not only do you utilize your quads, glutes, and calves to propel the bike, but another benefit is that is can work the upper body as well. It can give the bike rider a balanced tone.

So the next time you want to run a quick errand, instead of taking your car, take some pointers from Mr. and Mrs. Carter and use that bike.

How Hayden, Gwenyth, Kerry, and Isla Stay Slim


Daily Makeover had something to dish about when they revealed some of Hollywood’s Hottest women’s secrets to staying slim.

Hayden Panettiere admitted to Women’s Health that she works out by taking the stairs. She always walks 12 flights of stairs, and we can admit that the stairs is giving that body a boost!

“Confessions of a Shopaholic” star Isla Fisher had lost 70 pounds doing yoga after her second pregnancy. Fisher told Fitness Mag: “When you’re really focused on your breathing, you’re able to clear your head, and all the worries of everyday life go out the window. I love that feeling of being connected with my own body.” We agree!

The famous Gwenyth Paltrow keeps fit by working out with the famed celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson five days a week for two hours, doing cardio and pilates. She is also an author of two nutrition books with her trainer. Way to go Gwen!

“Felicity” star Keri Russell does it the old school, normal way….Workout DVD’s! The busy mother of two doesn’t have time to hit the gym, instead she does a 20 minute toning routine from a workout video.
